School Calendar Makeup Days

Dear Families:
There has been a slight change, regarding our make-up days due to Hurricane Sandy.
The Department of Education (DoE) will not approve bus or food service for Tuesday, April 2nd. Therefore,
school is CLOSED on Tuesday, April 2nd.
We have added one day to the end of the school year, instead. Monday, June 24th is now the
LAST DAY of school, with 1pm dismissal."

Dear Families:
As you know, we missed 5 school days due to Hurricane Sandy and its impact. As we legally need to have 180 days of school, these days do need to be made up at some point throughout the remaining part of the year. While NYC Schools Chancellor Walcott officially called for President's week in February to make up those 5 days, our calendar will be a bit different.

The last day of school is still Friday, June 21st.
